1. Data We Collect
Pomo finder is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers. All data remains entirely on your device.
The following data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage:
- Timer Settings: Pomodoro/break durations, auto-start preferences, chime sound selection
- Focus Statistics: Completed pomodoros count, total focus minutes logged
- Task Data: Your task titles, estimated pomodoros, completion status
- UI Preferences: Selected wallpaper, mobile focal point, weather mode, dimmer/blur settings, music volume
- Living Scene Toggle: Whether animated coffee steam and desk lamp are enabled
2. How Your Data Is Used
All locally stored data is used exclusively to:
- Persist your timer configuration across sessions
- Track and display your focus statistics
- Save and restore your task list
- Remember your aesthetic preferences (wallpaper, soundscape, etc.)
- Provide a seamless experience without requiring accounts or logins
No analytics, tracking, or telemetry scripts run on this site. No third-party services receive your data.
3. Third-Party Services
Pomo finder loads the following external resources:
- Google Fonts: Inter, Outfit, and Geist Mono fonts are preconnected for performance. No cookies are set.
- Lo-Fi Radio Streams: Audio streams from verified public radio stations (Nightwave Plaza, Laut.fm, Box Radio, Smooth Chill). These are direct audio streams; we do not control their privacy practices.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking pixels.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Since all data lives in your browser's localStorage:
- You can clear all data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for
pomotimerai.com - Data persists until you manually clear it or use a private/incognito session
- We have no ability to access, modify, or delete your data — it never leaves your device
5. Cookies
Pomo finder does not set any cookies. We use localStorage exclusively for client-side persistence.
6. Children's Privacy
Pomo finder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we collect no personal data at all, COPPA compliance is inherent.
7. Changes to This Policy
Any updates to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we have no backend and no user accounts, we cannot notify you directly — please review this page periodically.
